Weekend With Grandma and Opa

The other day, I received a call from my dad asking he he and my mom could come have a sleepover with us for the weekend. After overcoming the complete shock, of course I was thrilled with the idea! They came up on a Friday night. Kiley of course wanted to make cupcakes, so she and grandma Linda began baking while Opa played baseball outside with Jax. They ate treats and read stories before going to bed. Jax snuck into bed around 10:00pm and talked grandma's head off until he was finally tired enough to go back to bed. She enjoyed the conversation just as much as he did. Kiley and grandma baking cupcakes.
She is in her "heights glory" as two of her favorite things are cupcakes and her grandparents.
The next morning Opa took the kids for a walk and then to the park. We then went home to get ready to go to a movie. While we were getting ready, Opa snuck out and mowed our lawn, which drove Mike crazy trying to figure out who did it. Dad admitted to it a week later! We had a blast watching "G Force" in 3D at the theater and then decided to take Opa to Cabella's for the first time.
Checking out the fish.Mike and Jax looking at all the animals. Posing for a picture.
"Rock on Jax!"
