The Jackson Family Reunion

Each year we enjoy attending the Jackson Family Reunion which is my dad's- mother's family. Jackson is named after my grandma Rheabell Jackson Pitcher. This is a picture of her with my grandpa Budd. They are two of the most amazing people in my life and I can't express enough, my love for them. Grandma is the youngest of her siblings, and will be 80 nest year. Many of her family members have passed on. In fact her 90 year old brother Dave passed away just weeks after the reunion. They each have left an amazing legacy for the decedents of the Jackson family and I am so blessed to be a part of it!

Each family was to present a talent, so Landon and Court sang a country song about family entitled "All Because Two People Fell in Love." They dedicated it to my grandma's parents, Elmer and Sara Jane Jackson. They also told the story of how my great grandma Sara converted to the LDS faith as a teenager while living in Bellfast Ireland. She worked hard to save money to come to America and live amongst the other members of the church. She eventually met and married Elmer Jackson and together they had 7 children. We enjoy celebrating their life and history every summer together!

Court and dad enjoying lunch together. (Landon and dad had just finished running 26 miles earlier that morning and were ready to eat!)
I absolutely love this picture of my gorgeous sister in law Kelli with her two beautiful children Kade and Cambrie.
Family is truly the greatest blessing in my life!
