Christmas Ain't Over yet!

Traditionally each year we drive to Mike's mom's house first thing Christmas morning. However, this year plans were a bit different. Mike's sister Kris called a couple days before Christmas to let us know that they heard a large snow storm was supposed to be coming through Christmas morning and that they had decided for safety reasons, they were going to stay home and we would celebrate Christmas the day after. Since we were going up to my parents house on Christmas Eve to celebrate my B-day, we decided to just stay over night there so that we would not miss my brother Steve's phone call from his mission in Paraguay and avoid the snow storm all together. Of course the weather man got it all wrong...Christmas day was beautiful - but we stuck with our plans and spent the day with my side of the family and spent the 26th with Mike's side of the family. We enjoyed the traditional Brunch Souffle breakfast that Grandma Kathy makes every year, opened gifts, and then went to a movie that afternoon. After dinner we headed home and then the big storm hit just as we left. So, it worked out great and we enjoyed the extra time spent with each family!

Christmas breakfast is the best!Daddy and his little princess.Grandma hand made each of us a stocking and "helps" Santa fill them with fun gifts and goodies each year!
